Toshiba PDR-M21 review
Toshiba presents its new conception, the Toshiba PDR-M21 which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced in North America on the 05/2/01. The Toshiba PDR-M21 will be sold at a retail price of 350in the US, a great deal. This nice camera measures 116 x 69 x 48 mm and has for weight 240 g. The PDR-M21 offers a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It also supports a lower resolution of 800 x 600. The ratio of the image on the Toshiba PDR-M21 is 4:3, for a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the PDR-M21 is a CCD measuring only 1/2 " having a RGB color filter.
Toshiba included a digital zoom on the PDR-M21 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the PDR-M21 was set at 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/500 seconds. The Toshiba PDR-M21 camera has an internal storage of 8 mb extendable with external storage with SmartMedia. The LCD implemented in the PDR-M21 measures 1.8 ".
