Sony DSC-W70 review
Sony presents its new model, the Sony DSC-W70 which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was shown in North America on the 25/2/06. The Sony DSC-W70 is sold at a price of 284in the United States, considered affordable for such a camera. The DSC-W70 can be set to a maximum resolution of 3072 x 2304. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Sony DSC-W70 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 7.1 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DSC-W70 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
Sony implemented a digital zoom on the DSC-W70 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DSC-W70 is 1 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Sony DSC-W70 camera has an internal storage of 58 mb and can be extended with Memory Stick Duo / Pro Duo + Internal. The LCD screen of the DSC-W70 measures 2.5". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
