Sony DSC-U60 review
Sony launches its new camera, the Sony DSC-U60 which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown on the North American market on the 28/5/03. The Sony DSC-U60 was initially targeted at a retail price of 250in North America, a very interesting deal. The DSC-U60 has for maximum resolution 1632 x 1224. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Sony DSC-U60 is 4:3, making a total of 2.0 mega pixels. The sensor on the DSC-U60 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter. The normal focus range is 10 cm.
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-U60 is 1/8 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Sony DSC-U60 has an internal storage space of 8 mb extendable by using Memory Stick / Pro. The LCD screen available on the DSC-U60 measures 1.0 ". Connection to a computer is available through USB.
