Sony DSC-P92 review
Sony strikes back with its new conception, the Sony DSC-P92 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in North America on the 24/2/03. The Sony DSC-P92 is sold at a price of 500in North America, a great price for such a camera. This model measures 120 x 58 x 33 mm and has for weight 259 g. The DSC-P92 offers a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Sony DSC-P92 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 5.0 mega pixels. The sensor of the DSC-P92 is a CCD which measures 1/1.8 " with a RGB color filter.
Sony added a digital zoom on its DSC-P92 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DSC-P92 is 2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Sony DSC-P92 has an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with external storage with Memory Stick / Pro. The LCD implemented in the DSC-P92 measures 1.5 ".
