Sony DSC-P41 review
Sony strikes back with its new model, the Sony DSC-P41 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 11/2/04. The Sony DSC-P41 is sold at a price of 200in the US, considered affordable for such a camera. This nice camera measures 106 x 58 x 40 mm while weights 180 g. The DSC-P41 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Sony DSC-P41 is 4:3, 3:2, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels.
The sensor of the DSC-P41 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " using a RGB color filter. Sony added a digital zoom on its DSC-P41 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range is 10 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DSC-P41 is 2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model being a very useful function. The Sony DSC-P41 includes an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with external storage with Memory Stick / Pro.
The LCD implemented in the DSC-P41 diagonally measures 1.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To summarize, we believe the Sony DSC-P41 makes a very attractive camera and we would encourage you to buy this great camera.
