Samsung Digimax U-CA 401 review
Samsung strikes back with its new conception, the Samsung Digimax U-CA 401 which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown in North America on the 12/2/04. This nice camera measures 97 x 60 x 15 mm while it weights only 165 g. The Digimax U-CA 401 delivers a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1136 x 852, 528 x 426. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Samsung Digimax U-CA 401 is set at 4:3, making a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the Digimax U-CA 401 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter.
Samsung included a digital zoom on the Digimax U-CA 401 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 60 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Digimax U-CA 401 was set at 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The LCD screen of the Digimax U-CA 401 measures 1.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television.
