Pentax Optio S45 review
Pentax is back with its new camera, the Pentax Optio S45 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in North America on the 11/5/05. The Optio S45 delivers a maximum resolution of 2304 x 1728. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Pentax Optio S45 is set at 4:3, for a total of 4.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Optio S45 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Pentax included a digital zoom on the Optio S45 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Optio S45 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Pentax Optio S45 includes an internal memory of 11 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Optio S45 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television.
