Pentax Optio E20 review
Pentax impresses with its new camera, the Pentax Optio E20 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in the US on the 13/9/06. The Optio E20 delivers a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It also supports a lower resolution of 2272 x 1704, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Pentax Optio E20 is set at 4:3, making a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Optio E20 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Pentax added a digital zoom on its Optio E20 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Optio E20 is 2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Pentax Optio E20 has an internal memory of 13 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Optio E20 diagonally measures 2.4 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
