Pentax Optio 50 review
Pentax arrives this year with its new conception, the Pentax Optio 50 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown on the North American market on the 13/2/05. The Optio 50 gets a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Pentax Optio 50 is 4:3, making a total of 4.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the Optio 50 is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter. Pentax added a digital zoom on its Optio 50 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Optio 50 is 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The Pentax Optio 50 has an internal storage space of 12 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Optio 50 diagonally measures 1.8 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
