Pentax Optio S1 review
Pentax impresses with its new model, the Pentax Optio S1 which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 2/3/2011. This nice little piece of technology measures 114 x 58 x 28 mm while weights 157 g. The Optio S1 can be set to a maximum resolution of 4288 x 3216. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 4224 x 2376, 3216 x 3216, 3072 x 2304, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Pentax Optio S1 is 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, making a camera of 14.1 mega pixels. Pentax included a digital zoom on the Optio S1 with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras .
The min. shutter speed of the Optio S1 was set at 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version being a very useful function. The LCD screen available on the Optio S1 measures 2.7 ". A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computerUSB 2.0.
