Pentax Optio RZ18 review
Pentax presents its new conception, the Pentax Optio RZ18 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown in the US on the 12/9/2011. This nice camera measures 97 x 61 x 33 mm and weights 178 g. The Optio RZ18 offers a maximum resolution of 4608 x 3456. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3456 x 3456, 4608 x 2592, 3072 x 2304, 1920 x 1080, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Pentax Optio RZ18 is 4:3, 16:9, for a total of 16.0 mega pixels. Pentax implemented a digital zoom on the Optio RZ18 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Optio RZ18 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The LCD screen of the Optio RZ18 measures 3 ". Connection to a computer is available through USBUSB 2.0. To summarize, we truly think the Pentax Optio RZ18 is a fantastic camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this great camera.
