Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 review
Panasonic unveils its new camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled in the US on the 12/5/2011. This nice little piece of technology measures 115 x 84 x 47 mm while it weights only 336 g. The Lumix DMC-G3 has for maximum resolution 4592 x 3448. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 4576 x 3056, 4576 x 2576, 3424 x 3424, 3232 x 2424, 3232 x 2160, 3232 x 1824, 2416 x 2416, 2272 x 1704, 2272 x 1520, 1920 x 1080, 1824 x 1368, 1824 x 1216, 1824 x 1024 , 1712 x 1712, 1712 x 1712. The image ratio (w/h) on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 has been set at 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, for a total of 15.8 mega pixels.
Panasonic implemented a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-G3 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Lumix DMC-G3 was set at 60 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/4000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The LCD implemented in the Lumix DMC-G3 is measuring 3 ". Connection to a computer is available through USBUSB 2.0.
