Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC20 review
Panasonic launches its new camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC20 which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in the US on the 11/1/02. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC20 will be sold at a retail price of 350in the US, a great price for such a camera. This nice little piece of technology measures 99 x 66 x 41 mm and has for weight 290 g. The Lumix DMC-LC20 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It also supports a lower resolution of 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC20 has been set at 4:3, making a camera of 1.9 mega pixels.
The lens's sensor of the Lumix DMC-LC20 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter. Panasonic implemented a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-LC20 with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Lumix DMC-LC20 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC20 has an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card.
The LCD implemented in the Lumix DMC-LC20 is measuring 1.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer.
