Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1 review
Panasonic unveils its new conception, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented in the US on the 29/9/02. This model measures 125 x 70 x 83 mm and is weighting only 354 g. The Lumix DMC-FZ1 can be set to a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1200. It also supports a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 2.0 mega pixels. The sensor of the Lumix DMC-FZ1 is a CCD which measures 1/3.2 " having a RGB color filter. Panasonic implemented a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-FZ1 with an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 30 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Lumix DMC-FZ1 is 8 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1 includes an internal memory of 8 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card. The LCD implemented in the Lumix DMC-FZ1 is measuring 1.5 ".
A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To summarize, we think the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1 makes a great camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this great camera.
