Panasonic arrives this year with its new conception, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX500 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in the US on the 18/3/08. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 3648 x 3432, 3648 x 2056, 3072 x 2304, 3072 x 2048, 3072 x 1728, 2560 x 1920, 2560 x 1712, 2560 x 1440, 2048 x 1536, 2048 x 1360, 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The sensor of the Lumix DMC-FX500 is a CCD which measures 1/2.33 " having a RGB color filter. Panasonic included a digital zoom on the Lumix DMC-FX500 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Lumix DMC-FX500 is 60 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX500 has an internal storage space of 50 mb extendable by using SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal.
