Olympus Stylus 850 SW review
Olympus impresses with its new camera, the Olympus Stylus 850 SW which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown on the North American market on the 22/1/08. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The sensor on the Stylus 850 SW is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.35 " having a RGB color filter. Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the Stylus 850 SW and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range is 50 cm.
The minimum shutter speed on the Stylus 850 SW was set at 1 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function. The Olympus Stylus 850 SW includes an internal memory of 14.8 mb and can be extended with external storage by using xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Stylus 850 SW is measuring 2.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. Briefly, we believe the Olympus Stylus 850 SW makes a fantastic camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to buy this wonderful camera.
