Olympus Stylus 780 review
Olympus strikes back with its new conception, the Olympus Stylus 780 which is a very exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled in the US on the 05/3/07. This nice camera measures 100 x 55 x 24 mm and is weighting only 195 g. It also supports a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The sensor of the Stylus 780 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.3 " having a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its Stylus 780 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range is 70 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Stylus 780 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Olympus Stylus 780 has an internal memory of 18 mb extendable by using xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Stylus 780 measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists making it handy to watch pictures on your television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
