Olympus Stylus 550WP review
Olympus launches its new conception, the Olympus Stylus 550WP which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown on the North American market on the 07/1/09. It also supports a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480, 1920 x 1080. Olympus included a digital zoom on the Stylus 550WP with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Stylus 550WP is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds.
Movies are supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Olympus Stylus 550WP includes an internal memory of and can be extended with external storage by using xD-Picture Card, microSD, internal. The LCD screen available on the Stylus 550WP measures 2.5 ". Connection to a computer is available through USBUSB 2.0 (480Mbit/sec).
