Olympus Stylus 1020 review
Olympus unveils its new model, the Olympus Stylus 1020 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in the US on the 22/1/08. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The lens's sensor of the Stylus 1020 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.33 " having a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its Stylus 1020 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 70 cm.
The minimum shutter speed on the Stylus 1020 is 1/2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function. The Olympus Stylus 1020 camera has an internal storage of 14.7 mb extendable with xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD screen of the Stylus 1020 is measuring 2.7 ". A video output is available making it handy to watch pictures on your television. Connection to a computer is available through USB. Briefly, we truly think the Olympus Stylus 1020 makes a great camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this great camera.
