Olympus Stylus 1040 review
Olympus is back with its new camera, the Olympus Stylus 1040 which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown in North America on the 25/8/08. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2560 x 1920, 2304 x 1728, 2048 x 1536, 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. Olympus added a digital zoom on its Stylus 1040 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Stylus 1040 was set at 1 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds.
The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Olympus Stylus 1040 includes an internal memory of 14.8 mb extendable with xD Picture Card, Internal. The LCD screen available on the Stylus 1040 diagonally measures 2.7 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To conclude, we truly think the Olympus Stylus 1040 makes a very attractive camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this great camera.
