Olympus FE-4040 review
Olympus presents its new conception, the Olympus FE-4040 which is a great camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 07/1/10. This model measures 97 x 56 x 22 mm and has for weight 137 g. The FE-4040 can be set to a maximum resolution of 4288 x 3216. It also supports a lower resolution of 4288 x 2416, 2560 x 1920, 2048 x 1536, 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. Olympus added a digital zoom on its FE-4040 and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 60 cm.
The min. shutter speed of the FE-4040 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function. The Olympus FE-4040 has an internal storage space of 18 mb extendable with external storage with SD/SDHC, Internal. The LCD implemented in the FE-4040 is measuring 2.7 ". A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computerUSB 2.0 (480Mbit/sec).
