Olympus FE-290 review
Olympus strikes back with its new model, the Olympus FE-290 which is an exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 23/8/07. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1920 x 1080, 640 x 480. The sensor of the FE-290 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Olympus added a digital zoom on its FE-290 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the FE-290 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds.
Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Olympus FE-290 has an internal storage space of 6.9 mb extendable with external storage with xD Picture Card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the FE-290 measures 3.0 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. A USB connection is furnished to connect to a computer. To conclude, we think the Olympus FE-290 makes a fantastic camera and we recommend our readers to consider this great camera.
