Olympus FE-120 review
Olympus impresses with its new model, the Olympus FE-120 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in the US on the 29/8/05. The Olympus FE-120 will be sold at a retail price of 204in North America, a very interesting deal. This model measures 106 x 56 x 36 mm while it weights only 160 g. The FE-120 delivers a maximum resolution of 2816 x 2112. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Olympus FE-120 is set at 4:3, for a total of 6.0 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the FE-120 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter.
Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the FE-120 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the FE-120 was set at 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Olympus FE-120 includes an internal memory of 14 mb extendable with external storage with xD Picture Card + Internal.
The LCD implemented in the FE-120 is measuring 1.8 ". USB connectivity to a computer is supported. To conclude, we really believe that the Olympus FE-120 makes a fantastic camera and we greatly encourage our readers to buy this wonderful camera.
