Olympus D-580 Zoom review
Olympus presents its new conception, the Olympus D-580 Zoom which is a great camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented in the US on the 12/2/04. The Olympus D-580 Zoom is sold at a price of 299in the US, no bad for all this technology. This nice little piece of technology measures 108 x 58 x 37 mm and weights 210 g. The D-580 Zoom has for maximum resolution 2288 x 1712. It also supports a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Olympus D-580 Zoom has been set at 4:3, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the D-580 Zoom is a CCD of dimensions 1/2.7 " having a RGB color filter.
Olympus added a digital zoom on its D-580 Zoom and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range is 50 cm. The min. shutter speed of the D-580 Zoom was set at 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Olympus D-580 Zoom includes an internal memory of 16 mb extendable by using xD Picture Card. The LCD implemented in the D-580 Zoom measures 1.8 ".
