Olympus D-560 Zoom review
Olympus launches its new camera, the Olympus D-560 Zoom which is a special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 02/3/03. The Olympus D-560 Zoom was initially targeted at a retail price of 300in the US, a great deal. The D-560 Zoom gets a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Olympus D-560 Zoom is 4:3, making a total of 3.1 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the D-560 Zoom is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the D-560 Zoom and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the D-560 Zoom was set at 2 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Olympus D-560 Zoom has an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with xD Picture Card. The LCD screen available on the D-560 Zoom measures 1.8 ".
