Olympus presents its new model, the Olympus D-460 Zoom which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 08/2/00. The Olympus D-460 Zoom is sold at a price of 500in the US, considered affordable for such a camera. This model measures 127 x 67 x 54 mm and is weighting only 320 g. The D-460 Zoom delivers a maximum resolution of 1280 x 960. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Olympus D-460 Zoom is 4:3, making a camera of 1.2 mega pixels. Olympus implemented a digital zoom on the D-460 Zoom and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the D-460 Zoom is 1/2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. The Olympus D-460 Zoom camera has an internal storage of 8 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SmartMedia. The LCD screen of the D-460 Zoom is measuring 1.8 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
