Olympus impresses with its new camera, the Olympus C-770 UZ which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 12/2/04. The Olympus C-770 UZ has been launched at a price of 383in the United States, a great deal. This nice little piece of technology measures 105 x 60 x 69 mm while weights 310 g. The C-770 UZ can be set to a maximum resolution of 2288 x 1712. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Olympus C-770 UZ is 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 3.9 mega pixels.
The sensor of the C-770 UZ is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Olympus included a digital zoom on the C-770 UZ and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the C-770 UZ was set at 16 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function. The Olympus C-770 UZ camera has an internal storage of 32 mb extendable by using xD Picture Card.
The LCD screen available on the C-770 UZ is measuring 1.8 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
