Nikon Coolpix S520 review
Nikon impresses with its new camera, the Nikon Coolpix S520 which is an exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 29/1/08. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480, 3200 x 1800, 2448 x 2448. The lens's sensor of the Coolpix S520 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Nikon included a digital zoom on the Coolpix S520 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm.
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Coolpix S520 was set at 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1500 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Nikon Coolpix S520 includes an internal memory of 23 mb and can be extended with SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Coolpix S520 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
