Nikon unveils its new model, the Nikon Coolpix S4000 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in the US on the 03/2/10. This model measures 95 x 57 x 20 mm while weights 131 g. The Coolpix S4000 offers a maximum resolution of 4000 x 3000. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3968 x 2232, 3264 x 2448, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. Nikon added a digital zoom on its Coolpix S4000 and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm.
The movie mode is supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Nikon Coolpix S4000 includes an internal memory of 45 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/SDHC, Internal. The LCD screen of the Coolpix S4000 measures 3 ". Connection to a computer is available through USBUSB 2.0 (480Mbit/sec).
