Nikon is back with its new model, the Nikon Coolpix S3000 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented on the North American market on the 03/2/10. This nice little piece of technology measures 94 x 56 x 19 mm while weights 116 g. The Coolpix S3000 has for maximum resolution 4000 x 3000. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3968 x 2232, 3264 x 2448, 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. Nikon added a digital zoom on its Coolpix S3000 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range is 50 cm.
Movie clips are also supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Nikon Coolpix S3000 has an internal storage space of 47 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/SDHC, Internal. The LCD screen available on the Coolpix S3000 diagonally measures 2.7 ". Connection to a computer is available through USBUSB 2.0 (480Mbit/sec).
