Nikon Coolpix 3700 review
Nikon presents its new model, the Nikon Coolpix 3700 which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was unveiled in the US on the 28/10/03. The Nikon Coolpix 3700 will be sold for 359in the United States, a great price for such a camera. This nice little piece of technology measures 95.5 x 50 x 31 mm and has for weight 162 g. The Coolpix 3700 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 1024 x 768, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (w/h) on the Nikon Coolpix 3700 is 4:3, for a total of 3.1 mega pixels.
The sensor of the Coolpix 3700 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " using a RGB color filter. Nikon added a digital zoom on its Coolpix 3700 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 30 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Coolpix 3700 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/3000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Nikon Coolpix 3700 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable with SD card.
The LCD screen available on the Coolpix 3700 measures 1.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
