Nikon impresses with its new camera, the Nikon Coolpix P7100 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented on the North American market on the 24/8/2011. This nice little piece of technology measures 116 x 77 x 48 mm while it weights only 395 g. The Coolpix P7100 gets a maximum resolution of 3648 x 2736. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Nikon Coolpix P7100 is 1:1, 5:4, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, for a total of 10.1 mega pixels. Nikon implemented a digital zoom on the Coolpix P7100 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The minimum shutter speed on the Coolpix P7100 was set at 60 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/4000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function. The LCD screen available on the Coolpix P7100 diagonally measures 3 ". Connection to a computer is available through USBUSB 2.0.
