Minolta DiMAGE Z1 review
Minolta strikes back with its new conception, the Minolta DiMAGE Z1 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was shown in the US on the 07/8/03. The Minolta DiMAGE Z1 has been launched at a price of 199in North America, no bad for all this technology. The DiMAGE Z1 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Minolta DiMAGE Z1 has been set at 4:3, making a total of 3.2 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DiMAGE Z1 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.7 " with a RGB color filter.
Minolta included a digital zoom on the DiMAGE Z1 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DiMAGE Z1 was set at 15 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Minolta DiMAGE Z1 includes an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card. The LCD implemented in the DiMAGE Z1 diagonally measures 1.5 ".
