Minolta DiMAGE X20 review
Minolta launches its new conception, the Minolta DiMAGE X20 which is a great camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in the US on the 17/7/03. This nice little piece of technology measures 86 x 67 x 24 mm and is weighting only 165 g. The DiMAGE X20 offers a maximum resolution of 1600 x1200. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Minolta DiMAGE X20 is set at 4:3, for a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the DiMAGE X20 is a CCD which measures 1/3.2 " having a RGB color filter. Minolta included a digital zoom on the DiMAGE X20 with an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 10 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DiMAGE X20 is 4 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Minolta DiMAGE X20 has an internal memory of 8 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the DiMAGE X20 measures 1.6 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
USB connectivity to a computer is supported. Briefly, we really believe that the Minolta DiMAGE X20 is a fantastic camera and we would encourage you to consider this great camera.
