Minolta DiMAGE S414 review
Minolta presents its new conception, the Minolta DiMAGE S414 which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was presented on the North American market on the 10/2/03. The Minolta DiMAGE S414 will be sold for 400in North America, no bad for all this technology. This nice camera measures 114 x 65 x 59 mm while it weights only 423 g. The DiMAGE S414 delivers a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It also supports a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Minolta DiMAGE S414 is set at 4:3, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels.
The sensor on the DiMAGE S414 is a CCD measuring only 1/1.8 " and uses a RGB color filter. Minolta added a digital zoom on its DiMAGE S414 and also added an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DiMAGE S414 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model being a very useful function. The Minolta DiMAGE S414 camera has an internal storage of 16 mb extendable with Compact Flash (Type I only).
The LCD implemented in the DiMAGE S414 is measuring 1.8 ". There is also a video out output available allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television.
