Minolta DiMAGE G400 review
Minolta strikes back with its new camera, the Minolta DiMAGE G400 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 14/10/03. The Minolta DiMAGE G400 will be sold for 155in the United States, a very interesting deal. The DiMAGE G400 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2272 x 1704. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio (width / height) on the Minolta DiMAGE G400 is set at 4:3, for a total of 3.9 mega pixels. The sensor on the DiMAGE G400 is a CCD having for dimensions 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter.
Minolta included a digital zoom on the DiMAGE G400 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DiMAGE G400 is 15 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version being a very useful function. The Minolta DiMAGE G400 has an internal storage space of 16 mb extendable with SD/MMC card, Memory Stick. The LCD implemented in the DiMAGE G400 measures 1.5 ".
