Minolta DiMAGE E223 review
Minolta impresses with its new model, the Minolta DiMAGE E223 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 02/3/03. The DiMAGE E223 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 800 x 600. The image ratio (width / height) on the Minolta DiMAGE E223 is set at 4:3, for a total of 1.9 mega pixels. The sensor of the DiMAGE E223 is a CCD which measures 1/2.7 " using a RGB color filter. Minolta implemented a digital zoom on the DiMAGE E223 and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 60 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the DiMAGE E223 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Minolta DiMAGE E223 has an internal storage space of 8 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the DiMAGE E223 measures 1.5 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television.
