Leica V-LUX 20 review
Leica presents its new camera, the Leica V-LUX 20 which is a very special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in North America on the 20/4/10. This nice camera measures 103 x 60 x 33 mm and is weighting only 218 g. The V-LUX 20 delivers a maximum resolution of 4000 x 3000. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 4176 x 2784 4320 x 2432, 3264 x 2448, 3392 x 2264, 3552 x 2000, 2560 x 1920, 2656 x 1768, 2784 x 1568, 2048 x 1536, 2048 x 1360, 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480, 640 x 424, 640 x 360. Leica implemented a digital zoom on the V-LUX 20 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the V-LUX 20 was set at 60 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Leica V-LUX 20 camera has an internal storage of 15 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/SDHC/SDXC, Internal. The LCD screen available on the V-LUX 20 is measuring 3 ".
