Konica Minolta presents its new camera, the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X60 which is a very special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was announced in North America on the 09/5/05. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE X60 will be sold at a retail price of 299in the US, a great deal. This nice camera measures 84 x 56 x 22 mm while it weights only 185 g. The DiMAGE X60 offers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It also supports a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Konica Minolta DiMAGE X60 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 5.0 mega pixels.
The internal sensor on the DiMAGE X60 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Konica Minolta implemented a digital zoom on the DiMAGE X60 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera . The normal focus range is 10 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the DiMAGE X60 was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/1000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Konica Minolta DiMAGE X60 includes an internal memory of 15 mb extendable by using SD/MMC card.
The LCD implemented in the DiMAGE X60 diagonally measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists allowing you to watch your favorite pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
