HP Photosmart M517 review
HP strikes back with its new conception, the HP Photosmart M517 which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 28/4/05. The HP Photosmart M517 will be sold for 189in the United States, a very fair price. The Photosmart M517 gets a maximum resolution of 2576 x 1944. You can also set it at a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the HP Photosmart M517 has been set at 4:3, for a total of 5.2 mega pixels. The internal sensor on the Photosmart M517 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " using a RGB color filter.
HP implemented a digital zoom on the Photosmart M517 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 80 cm. The min. shutter speed of the Photosmart M517 was set at 2 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The HP Photosmart M517 has an internal storage space of 32 mb extendable with SD card + Internal.
The LCD screen of the Photosmart M517 measures 2.0 ". USB connectivity to a computer is supported. Briefly, we think the HP Photosmart M517 makes a very attractive camera and we encourage anyone interested in a great camera to consider this item.
