Casio QV-R3 review
Casio arrives this year with its new model, the Casio QV-R3 which is an exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was announced in the US on the 24/6/02. The QV-R3 offers a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536. It also supports a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Casio QV-R3 is set at 4:3, making a camera of 3.1 mega pixels. The sensor of the QV-R3 is a CCD measuring only 1/1.8 " using a RGB color filter. Casio implemented a digital zoom on the QV-R3 with an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the main subject is 40 cm. The min. shutter speed of the QV-R3 is 2 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this model being a very useful function. The Casio QV-R3 has an internal storage space of 11 mb extendable with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD screen of the QV-R3 measures 1.6 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
