Casio Exilim EX-Z80 review
Casio strikes back with its new conception, the Casio Exilim EX-Z80 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was shown on the North American market on the 07/1/08. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3264 x 2176, 3264 x 1840, 2816 x 2112, 2304 x 1728, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The sensor on the Exilim EX-Z80 is a CCD measuring only 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Casio implemented a digital zoom on the Exilim EX-Z80 and also added an internal flash being very common in new cameras . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 40 cm.
The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Exilim EX-Z80 was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-Z80 includes an internal memory of 11.4 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC/SDHC card + Internal. The LCD screen available on the Exilim EX-Z80 is measuring 2.6 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
