Casio Exilim EX-Z50 review
Casio launches its new conception, the Casio Exilim EX-Z50 which is a special camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled on the North American market on the 25/8/04. The Casio Exilim EX-Z50 has been launched at a price of 279in the United States, a great price for such a camera. This model measures 87 x 58 x 23 mm while it weights only 171 g. The Exilim EX-Z50 delivers a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1920. It also supports a lower resolution of 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200. The ratio of the image (width / height) on the Casio Exilim EX-Z50 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a total of 5.0 mega pixels.
The sensor on the Exilim EX-Z50 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Casio added a digital zoom on its Exilim EX-Z50 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The normal focus range is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Exilim EX-Z50 is 4 seconds and the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. Movie clips are also supported on this camera being a very useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-Z50 has an internal storage space of 9.3 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card + Internal.
