Casio Exilim EX-Z40 review
Casio strikes back with its new conception, the Casio Exilim EX-Z40 which is a special camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was presented in the US on the 25/2/04. This model measures 87 x 57 x 23 mm while weights 150 g. The Exilim EX-Z40 can be set to a maximum resolution of 2304 x 1728. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Casio Exilim EX-Z40 is 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 4.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the Exilim EX-Z40 is a CCD which measures only 1/2.5 " having a RGB color filter.
Casio included a digital zoom on the Exilim EX-Z40 and included an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays . The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 40 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the Exilim EX-Z40 was set at 4 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported on this camera which is always a useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-Z40 camera has an internal storage of 9.7 mb extendable with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Exilim EX-Z40 measures 2.0 ".
