Casio Exilim EX-S3 review
Casio presents its new conception, the Casio Exilim EX-S3 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the camera industry! It was announced in the US on the 02/3/03. This nice little piece of technology measures 90 x 57 x 12 mm and weights 110 g. The Exilim EX-S3 has for maximum resolution 2048 x 1536. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 1600 x 1200, 1280 x 960, 640 x 480. The ratio of the image on the Casio Exilim EX-S3 is 4:3, making a camera of 3.1 mega pixels. The sensor of the Exilim EX-S3 is a CCD of dimensions 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter. Casio added a digital zoom on its Exilim EX-S3 and included an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera lens and the object is 80 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the Exilim EX-S3 is 1 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/6400 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The Casio Exilim EX-S3 includes an internal memory of 10 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card + Internal. The LCD implemented in the Exilim EX-S3 measures 2.0 ". USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
