Canon is back with its new model, the Canon PowerShot TX1 which is an exciting camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown in the US on the 22/2/07. The Canon PowerShot TX1 will be sold at a retail price of 495in North America, considered affordable for such a camera. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The sensor of the PowerShot TX1 is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " with a RGB color filter. Canon included a digital zoom on the PowerShot TX1 and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 50 cm. The minimum shutter speed on the PowerShot TX1 was set at 15 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2500 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The LCD screen of the PowerShot TX1 measures 1.8 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television.
