Canon SX220 HS review
Canon launches its new model, the Canon SX220 HS which is a very exciting camera and supposed to set new standards in the market! It was unveiled in North America on the 7/2/2011. The SX220 HS can be set to a maximum resolution of 4000 x 3000. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 4000 x 3000, 4000 x 2248, 4000 x 2664, 2992 x 2992, 2816 x 2112, 2816 x 1880, 2816 x 1584, 2112 x 2112, 1920 x 1080, 1600 x 1200, 1600 x 1064, 1200 x 1200, 640 x 480, 640 x 424, 640 x 360, 480 x 480. The image ratio (w/h) on the Canon SX220 HS is set at 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, making a total of 12.1 mega pixels.
Canon implemented a digital zoom on the SX220 HS with an internal flash being a standard in nowadays cameras . The min. shutter speed of the SX220 HS is 15 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/3200 seconds. Movies are supported in this model which is always a useful function. The LCD screen available on the SX220 HS diagonally measures 3 ". Connection to a computer is available through USBUSB 2.0.
