Canon PowerShot A720 IS review
Canon unveils its new camera, the Canon PowerShot A720 IS which is a special camera and entering with force a very competitive market! It was shown in North America on the 20/8/07. The Canon PowerShot A720 IS has been launched at a price of 224in the US, a great price for such a camera. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The internal sensor on the PowerShot A720 IS is a CCD which measures 1/2.5 " and uses a RGB color filter. Canon implemented a digital zoom on the PowerShot A720 IS and included an internal flash being very common in new cameras .
The normal focus range between the camera and the object is 55 cm. The minimum shutter speed (min. exposition to light) on the PowerShot A720 IS is 15 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this model being a very useful function. The Canon PowerShot A720 IS includes an internal memory of 16 mb and can be extended with external storage by using SD/MMC card. The LCD implemented in the PowerShot A720 IS is measuring 2.5 ". A video output is available allowing you to watch your pictures on TV.
