It can also be set at a lower resolution of 3264 x 2448, 2592 x 1944, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The sensor on the PowerShot A650 IS is a CCD measuring only 1/1.7 " using a RGB color filter. Canon added a digital zoom on its PowerShot A650 IS and also added an internal flash which is very handy to any cameras nowadays .
The min. shutter speed of the PowerShot A650 IS is 15 seconds and the maximum shutter is 1/2000 seconds. Movies are supported in this version being a very useful function. The Canon PowerShot A650 IS includes an internal memory of 32 mb extendable with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen of the PowerShot A650 IS measures 2.5 ". A video output is available letting you see your pictures on television. Connection to a computer is available through USB.
