Canon PowerShot A630 review
Canon unveils its new model, the Canon PowerShot A630 which is a very exciting camera and setting new standards in the market! It was presented in North America on the 24/8/06. The PowerShot A630 has for maximum resolution 3264 x 2448. It can also be set at a lower resolution of 2592 x 1944, 2048 x 1536, 1600 x 1200, 640 x 480. The image ratio on the Canon PowerShot A630 has been set at 4:3, 3:2, making a camera of 8.0 mega pixels. The lens's sensor of the PowerShot A630 is a CCD which measures 1/1.8 " having a RGB color filter. Canon included a digital zoom on the PowerShot A630 and also added an internal flash which is always essential in a camera .
The min. shutter speed of the PowerShot A630 is 15 seconds while the maximum shutter speed is 1/2500 seconds. The movie mode is supported in this version which is always a useful function. The Canon PowerShot A630 includes an internal memory of 16 mb extendable with external storage with SD/MMC card. The LCD screen available on the PowerShot A630 measures 2.5 ". A video out plug exists letting you see your pictures on television. USB connectivity to a computer is supported.
